Mother's Day Weekend in Spurger
Trishell and Jon
QUIILTERS TEA
Wow - what a weekend. On Saturday we had our quilters tea. We gave our quilt away. We made almost 1500.00 on it. It was awesome. Then we went to see Lilly's Dance recital and she was awesome. Then on sunday we had a Ladies Brunch and I think it went great. We had about 70 ladies present. We dined on brunch casseroles, fresh fruit, petite quiche and angle food cake with real whipped cream and berries. Pretty good stuff. So by Sunday afternoon I was exhausted. It was all good though, Mike and Reba came down to see Mom, and Trishell and John came for the day. Zach worked but he was home for the weekend, he gave me 18 beautiful pink roses. Jeremy and Lora and the Granddogs came the weekend before and spent the entire weekend. Jennifer and Shawna both called, Hannah signed her name in cursive on my card. She is growing up. I feel very loved. I am trying to figure out how to upload a video that I did for Trishell for mothers day. Hopefully it will be here soon. I tried utube - but I gave up. I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. And that your summer will be filled with love and adventure.
ps. I will post some of the recipes from the brunch. they are at the church so you will have to wait a day or two. but they were really good.

OHIO, GRANDKIDS AND AMISH COUNTRY
GUESS I WILL TRY AGAIN ANOTHER TIME - CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO SEE THE BEAUTIFUL FALL IN OHIO.
ABOUT TIME
IT IS FAIRLY OBVIOUS THAT I AM NOT VERY GOOD AT THIS BLOG THING. BUT, LIFE SEEMS TO BE TOO BUSY LATELY FOR ME TO WRITE ABOUT IT. THIS WILL BE SHORT - BUT MAYBE I WILL GET BACK TO IT SOON. WE WENT TO OHIO THE LAST WEEK OF OCTOBER - IT WAS SAD NOT HAVING ZACH WITH US BUT WE HAD A GREAT TIME. I AM LOOKING SO FORWARD TO CHRISTMAS AND SEEING EVERYONE. WE ARE PLANNING A BIG PARTY FOR THE SATURDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS OUT AT THE ZACHARY PLACE.WHETHER WE HAVE A HAYRIDE OR NOT WILL DEPEND ON WHETHER THE KIDS WANT ONE. I HOPE IT IS NICE ENOUGH THAT WE CAN BE OUTSIDE.
